A British judge, while overseeing the release of child-murder and child-porn aficionado Jon Venables, who sexually tortured and killed a 2-year old boy, while he himself was only 10, said that the use of child pornography by sex offenders actually lessens the probability that they may abuse children. Baroness Butler-Sloss stated in court: “Of particular note is that this country [Czech Republic,] like Denmark and Japan, had a prolonged interval during which possession of child pornography was not illegal and, like those other countries, showed a significant decrease in the incidence of child sex abuse.” As for these so-called studies in Continental Europe, of note was the 2013 report from Denmark, with non-existent controls and limited subject pools, which claimed porn had little to no impact on those who watched it, they are always extremely suspect. On the contrary, in the US, a 2007 study of convicted internet offenders by the Federal Bureau of Prisons found that 85% of men who download child-porn also molest them. A similar Mayo Clinic report showed that 76% of individuals who were arrested for internet child-porn had also molested. Furthermore, a longitudinal study in 2008 concluded “that pornography's use correlated significantly with their [child molesters] rate of sexually re-offending.” Sadly, the main-stream porn industry has already embraced the “beneficial” aspects of child porn by constantly pushing out so-called simulated (see above) kiddy pornography: legal films starring barley legal teens that are then made-up to look even younger. Through porn, men (and boys) have already been groomed to enjoy, and seek out the sexual availability of children. What’s equally bizarre is that Forbes magazine covered the insane remarks from the British judge: and one of their commentators actually agreed with her. Tragically, the world is now moving into a very frightening time. A point in space where rational people have been turned into very sick and disturbed individuals who become turned-on by the extremes of perversity. And, it puts all of us at risk.
