The Child Molester in the House

It has always been my contention that the Internet serves as a gateway to demonic activity; in that it creates a clear conduit from one reality into another; and the expelling aperture is in your home. Although, there is much that is good and noble on the computer, there is an equal, actually excessive, amount of evil as well. Much of it centers around the world of pornography: for porn is the ultimate weapon of the devil, his minions, and the hapless humans who are his cohorts. For, at a young age, children are naturally curious about sex and their bodies. When I was a kid, way before the Internet was even a thought, I remember looking up the names of the various body parts in a family Encyclopedia; seeing naked native women in National Geographic, or looking at department store advertisements for female underwear in the Sunday newspaper. That was as far as the media would take my curiosity. Later, when I started to look at porn, I stupidly imagined that all the fantasies of sexual exploration had been fulfilled. But, as I began to grow tired of the same old Playboy and Penthouse magazines, my mind once again wandered to other more intense diversions. At that point, I began to purchase mail-order X-rated films. Thus began a downward spiral that eventually crashed into the gates of hell.
For the children of today, the first few innocent dalliances with sexual interests are non-existential. Through the computer, they are able to immediately delve into the sickest forms of sexual perversion. In my early-teens, I remember seeing my first porn movie that starred the very underage Traci Lords. I was simply bemused by the way Lords acted, and or responded to the man. He was spanking her; and she appeared to enjoy it. Is this how men and women have sex? It was a lot of contortions and thrusting. I thought: Is there love? Unfortunately, my experiences were tame compared to the plethora of violence-tinged porn that seeps all over the Internet; including: sado-masochism, anal sex, threesomes, and gang-bangs. It would be years later when I was fully indoctrinated into deviant sex. In the world of instant access, children no longer retain their naivety for very long. We have created a new generation of super-porn-stars and their wanna-be admirers. The rough things I did, would now be considered amateur level. The solution that I have forever maintained is that parents must be constantly observant and involved with children who have access to a computer. Look at it this way: Would you invite a child molester into your home, and then leave them alone with your child?

In a survey conducted by software security company McFee, 74% of the 1,301 moms and dads quizzed admitted they didn't have the time or know-how to check their youngsters' internet use. 85% of the 351 ten to twelve-year-olds questioned said they had a Facebook account despite the site’s requirement for users be 13 or older. On their profiles they posted email addresses, personal activities and more without care. To hide their online activity many employed sneaky tactics. One-quarter said that they cleared browser history to ensure their tracks were hidden. And 17% chose to delete instant messages and videos knowing parents would disapprove. Interestingly, of the 1,173 youths surveyed, almost half (46%) said they would be more careful about what they were doing if they knew their parents were watching. The U.S.-based study, conducted from April 3 to 15, also found that young people spend an average of six hours a day online either on laptops, smartphones or tablets. Almost all (95%) had at least one social media account and 44% said they checked it “constantly.”
