Chavez Heir Uses Catholicism

Newly elected President of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro, and heir to Communist dictator Hugo Chavez, held up some sort of holy card of the late Chavez with a Crucifix attached. As a Catholic shop owner I recognized the crucifix immediate: it’s the Cross of St. Benedict. Ironically, there is a special prayer of exorcism attached to this Cross. Strangely, Maduro was a one time devotee of Indian guru Sathya Sai Baba. Apparently, like many on the left, including those in America, Maduro will co-op any societal, cultural, or religious belief in order to gain and maintain power. For, these demagogues appropriate the symbols of religion, but strip them of all meaning. This false-religion, in the new-Communist manifesto, is just another tool to control the people.
