Found a fascinating interview with Diana Dors from 1983. When asked whom she thought was the man of the year, she said: “…the Pope, because when he forgave the man who tried to assassinate him, I thought this was the most wonderful thing that anybody could do…its what’s living and Christianity is all about.” Interesting observation, for I have found that most former sinners, who return to the fold, tend towards loving sympathy for those in need of much forgiveness.
